django-kidoredis - django interface for redis has been published today.

We have published django-kidoredis [1] today. It’s an interface to Redis server that can be used directly from Django caching framework, but isn’t limited only to caching. Thinking about redis like on Memcached replacement limits your possibilities. Existing packages for Django: “django-redis”, “django-redis-cache”, “django-redis-sessions”, “django-redisession” limits usage of Redis only to cache or session storage and has only limited support for some of Redis native commands.

Django-kidoredis uses “redis-py” [2] under the hood so it allows you access any Redis command (with some minor limitations described in redis-py documentation).
